Dear Lord, Your nearness is our comfort; Your breath keeps us warm. It is by Your every word that we live, and walk, and smile. By Your hand we are protected, as Your angels fight behind the scenes You have created to refine, and craft, and purify. Therefore, we recount Your wondrous deeds, we proclaim Your works of old, and exclaim with every breath that You still live! And You are here. Your word has never failed. Thank You.

Father, Please help all believers working in healthcare remain steadfast in their love and devotion towards You. May they be bright lights for your glory in their compassion, diligence and advocacy as they deal with the most challenging of situations. Thank you for your Love. Heavenly Father, please help us to shine forth Your love and goodness even when we struggle. Our nation is struggling. We ask for Your mercy for America. Once again, we submit to You, calling upon You to save our nation for the sake of our children and our children’s children. Anoint and equip us to lead the way as Your people in thought and deed. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Kind and loving Father, As schools and colleges around the region prepare to open for the fall, I pray for the administrators, teachers, coaches, paraprofessionals, and parents. Please protect our schools and the hearts and minds of all students, especially those most vulnerable. Move the hearts of your faithful to encourage and be present for young people who are in need of a Jesus-loving, kid-loving adult. In their lives. Amen

Lord, please draw close to a dear brother, Andrew. He is currently in extreme pain (pancreatic cancer) and the pain meds are not helping. Please give discernment and wisdom to him, his wife, and the medical team on how to move forward. Thank you that he knows You and Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Please be his help right now. Amen.

Thank You, Lord, for Your patience with our nation. We humbly ask that You turn the hearts of our leaders toward truth. May they let Your Word and Your principles guide them through the many decisions they must make. Help them withstand the enemy’s enticement to glorify themselves, instead of You. Protect their loved ones, and open their eyes, too, that they may seek after You above all. We ask this in Jesus’ name, amen.

Father, we come before you today on behalf of those within the community who are sitting in the unknown. These brothers and sisters who are awaiting a conversation with a specialist, an exam, or a test result and the weight can be unbearable. Draw near and may they feel your comfort and peace. Thank you for being the God who is all-knowing. Thank you that you promise to be with us, ALWAYS. To you be the Glory, Amen.
